Was it a security guard that caused or another concert gower. These people start doing stuff like this is gonna mess it up for the rest of us. Wow! That's awful.

Remember our little dance with security Robin R on Valentine's Day??? Sounds like that security must be related to the Gibson theatre folks!!!

I am so glad she was allowed to go back up..It's just so sad something like this happened. The security went way too far..
I hope her knee is going to be ok..

I just spoke with her on the phone she is on her way home. She will be ok. Knee is just a little stiff. She is ok!
Love, Shannon xx
Hi Shannon....that security sounds like the damn idiot at the Valentine's Day concert that I encountered!!! What is with them??? And they do it right in front of Michael...incredible!! Sounds identical to what I experienced...except I was not pushed. I hope Eileen didn't let it ruin her night but I know it put a damper on it like it did for me :/ Sorry to hear this!

Just found this review of tonights show:
SPRINGFIELD _ Michael Bolton headlined the Grand Ballroom at the MassMutual Center on Monday night delivering a 90 minute performance that featured nearly all of his penned and sung hits along with a few surprises as well.
The first surprise was the location of the concert, as in “surprise...there weren’t enough tickets sold to warrant opening up the arena.”
The negative connotations of “downsizing” are irrefutable and surely more than a few of those not attending Monday night’s performance had it pegged already as a failure.
Of course, anyone who has seen the inside of the Grand Ballroom at the MassMutual Center, or better yet, seen one of the few concerts that have been held there, might guess otherwise.
The room is an underutilized gem on the regional concert circuit with its malleable capacity, great sight lines and sound, and on Monday night it offered the hundreds of Bolton fanatics an intimate look at their musical guilty pleasure.
The show began pretty much as one might expect a Bolton show to begin, with a string of mid-tempo, histrionic love ballads like “To Love Somebody,” and his version of the Otis Redding classic “(Sitting On) The Dock of the Bay.”
Bolton urged the enthusiastic crowd to keep the energy up in the room.
“Feel free to make as much noise as you can,” he said. “I encourage you to take photos if you want and if you know a song and want to sing along, feel free to take over.”
Bolton pulled out “Hope Its Too Late,” from his most recent “One World, One Love” CD which was released in 2010. The song was chronologically “new” but was still anchored in 80s pop.
The singer decided the 80s weren’t far enough back so he pulled a song from his “Vintage” CD, covers of from the Great American Songbook and offered up “You Don’t Know Me.”
There were more surprises in store during the evening, including Bolton’s turn on guitar during a cover of “Sweet Home Chicago.” Claiming he was “going back to where he started,” Bolton worked up a passable version of the song. His voice, if not his playing, suited the song and the genre well.
Bolton also turned the stage over to saxophone player Michael Lington, letting the international modern jazz star solo during often during the night and even present his own instrumental single “You and I.”
Bolton’s foray into the Big Band era was less successful as he seemed drowned out by the six-piece band on “For Once in My Life” and “That’s Life,” but he did earn a standing ovation on the brilliantly-delivered aria “Nessun Dorma.”
He surprised again by ducking backstage during a band jam only to surface at the center of the hall to sing “When a Man Loves a Woman.” He made it back to close with “Time, Love, and Tenderness,” and his three song encore ended with “Georgia on My Mind.”
