Hi Sylvie,

I pretty much agree about Facebook. I am not on it, like you said I don't really have time for this site, working 2 jobs, cleaning, cooking etc etc!!

Exciting about Michael maybe doing Chicago or Phantom! Are we talking on Broadway in NYC? That would be great for me, I am 5 minutes from the train station to get to NY is about 1 1/2 hours from me!! I go with my daughter a few times a year, we last saw Rock of Ages.....great show! We met Constantine Maroulis, it was so much fun.

Hi Joy, I copied the quote directly from the interview and Michael didn’t give any more details. I would so love for Michael to be in “Phantom”! Joy. I've been to Jersey many times. Honey, I LOVE THEIR PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION. In New York as well. I've been to numerous Bolton concerts by using the Jersey trans&love it. I've taken train, bus,&plane to see the babe. I hear you having 2 jobs&the taking care of a home&such. :)

I agree with the 24/7 aspect of Facebook.  It really doesn't interest me either what everybody is doing every minute of the day.  It is nice though that Michael is using Facebook as a tool now to keep all the fans updated, especially with this new album.  So for that, Facebook is good... otherwise, I'm not convinced.

 

I think Michael would be great in Chicago or Phantom!  My problem is he just doesn't seem like a Broadway singer for me.  I don't think he's that type of an artist.  I guess nice to try new things.

 

Yes, we get a new Christmas CD this year too!  Yah!  Less than nine months until Christmas... have you started your shopping?!

Hi Diane, I understand it’s easier for Michael to update us on Facebook, but at least dear sainted Gail updates us here. I think if Michael puts his mind to it, he can do anything he wants. Who knows, maybe he’ll try it and won’t like it for whatever reason, either finding it too demanding or too confining. Then again, he might  get addicted to the adrenaline, who knows… I would just love to hear him in the role of the Phantom… If it would feel to him anywhere near the way Michael Crawford has described it, I think it would just be as intoxicating to all of us, him included! :D Nope, haven’t started shopping yet, but I will in June! Well I work for a Theatrical publishing company, and we handle the rights to Chicago and many other musicals....  Would be great to see Michael on a Broadway stage, or writing the music for one!!  If Michael is not too keen on acting, maybe he can strike a deal with one of the Broadway theatre's to perform various Broadway songs and his songs for a month or so, like Barry Manilow did years ago at the Gershwin Theatre.  I think it's a good idea!!!  And to finally see Michael here in the NYC area.....well it would be about time!!!!  I may be an old lady by the time he performs here....LOL!!!!!   Just kidding!!!  :)

I don't want to see him in or as phantom.Am I the only one who thinks he should have a creative break-meaning-doing NOTHING for a while?,Good God,all your talk makes me consider to train as a nun-frankly.

Probably you are not the only person who believes Michael deserves and should take a break but as anybody who knows Michael knows he would not want to do that there is really not a lot of point in thinking about or considering it and that is possibly why, even those who think he should take a break, don't voice it - we love Michael the way he is - we don't want to change him - do we ??? :)

He's having a break in May. I'd love for him to come to Vegas but that's coming soon, I hope. :))))) He does need a break. I'd rather Michael stick to singing--not acting. I'm sure he'd be good but musicals, I'm not for them. I'd drudge through a musical if he were in it&even through an opera even worse if he were to ever be in one.

Hi Diane..I just joined the dark side and I am totally in the dark!!!! There is no help for me. I joined just to get Michael info. I much prefer the forum :) FB will never simplify my life...not even close!! LOL It is all too time consuming!! :/

I am sure Michael will tour once again for his new cd. I do hope he takes a nice long vacation first so he can be refreshed and ready for all of us :)
