Here we go with the New 2011 Concert Tour Review Thread. Michael's tour begins again in the USA in Florida on January 13, 2011!!!!!!!! I hope Michael is well rested and ready to get back out on the road!
Please share your concert experiences, pictures, video links etc. with us here. We love hearing about the concerts and the great times had by the fans.
You all have made these threads fun in the past and I look forward to more adventures and fun this year!!

Sorry Dianna that the one Brisbayne's concert was cancelled but I'm glad you have 2 more to go to&4th row? Not bad. I've had further back seats&they were the so-called, um, gold club seats back in the day. Boltonnut from L. A. CA USA One gold club seat was in the 38th, yeah, 38th row&the other was 26th. Gold club? Hmm. Ok. What can I say.

To be real honest I understand why
1st one Gold Coast
Then he had to go to the other side of Australia for 2 Perth
Then back to 3.Adelaide and over to 4.Sydney THEN HE WOULD HAVE HAD TO GO BACK NEAR WHERE HE STARTED THE TOUR 5.Brisbane
and then jet off to 6.Melbourne
I thought it was a bit strange myself perhaps he can try to go to QPAC Brisbane before the Gold Coast show There was a conflict of some sort at the convention center in Brisbane that's why they had to cancel.

But you never know what may happen do we :)
I'm still a happy lady he said he wouldn't make me wait that long again before I seen him again in concert and I haven't so it's all good

Dianna think you have got a job as Michael's Liaison Rep with his Tour Rep out in Australia for I certainly think you could have done a better job at organizing the tour and not left the poor boy wondering is he was coming or going and I absolutely love your map !! :)

This is the article that appeared in the Sunday Telegraph in Australia on 6th November and the heading for it was : "WE WANTED A SUSAN BOYLE BUT GOT A MICHAEL BOLTON !"
Just wish they had got their information right about his visits to Australia but, of course, it is newspaper..... and they have the cheek to wonder why people don't buy them !!! LOL.
Hope you don't mind me bringing it over here but I thought for all of those not on FB it is something else about Michael and should appear somewhere on his website....hope okay Robin (MD) that I have put on here ????? :)
"AMERICAN popstar Michael Bolton arrived quietly in Sydney yesterday morning, smiling and waving at The Sunday Telegraph's photographer as he walked through the Sydney International Airport.
He was happy with the attention, but we were actually there to greet UK singer Susan Boyle.
With little fanfare, the '80s and 90s super crooner cruised through the airport, carrying his own luggage with other passengers, while unlikely British superstar Boyle snuck out through a VIP exit.
The 50-year-old Scottish singer Boyle was surrounded by heavy-handed security trying to stop camera crews from taking shots.
Without make-up and her hair dishevelled, Boyle appeared visibly upset as she was ushered to a waiting car and driven to her hotel.
Fellow passengers said Boyle cried and used bad language throughout the flight, her furthest trip ever from her Scottish homeland.

Did think about that thread Sylvie and then thought when article was really about the X Factor show - sort of; just kind of; nearly still; part of his tour - thought more appropriate in here because I think the promotions for Gems have been worked round the show rather than other way but I have really come in just now, not specifically to answer your comment, but to let you know I don't think Michael has got on a black jacket, I think it is dark grey.....I bet you are so surprised I may have got something wrong again.....it is now I am looking at screen in my kitchen, which is bathed in sunlight, so colours look a bit different than they did last night and this morning under electric light......have got to point out it is electric light I have got just in case you all think here in Scotland it is still with gas mantles - boom, boom !!! LOL. He still does look gorgeous, a right handsome ******, that certainly hasn't changed !!! lol.

Oh my goodness Sylvia, thanks so much for precision on the color, I can’t believe you made such a mistake! Lol BTW, I never thought you had a gas mantle, but you did mention candles yesterday... ;D Well, while I’m here, I want to share with you all a link I’ve found today. Last week, Gail had included in a post a video of Michael in Manilla singing “To love somebody” but for some reason, I couldn’t access it so I searched for it today and found it and it was just fabulous with audience participation: I could just imagine Michael’s beaming smile... It’s a mind-boggling string of SILYBIL, HAISTLWY and “Georgia” sung as David Foster is playing! How lucky can an audience get? I don’t think it’s been posted before, although there were, as I said, a couple of videos I couldn’t access before. In any case, enjoy for the first time or enjoy again!
