2012 TOUR REVIEW THREAD-PLEASE SHARE YOUR 2012 MB CONCERT ADVENTURES WITH US HERE!!!!

HELLO EVERYONE, Since the 2011 Tour Review Thread is not playing nice and throwing us all back to the beginning lately, Gail asked if I would go ahead and start the 2012 thread. So here it is.. We can all share our excitement for Michael's upcoming touring and events in 2012 and chat and have fun here till the shows start in 2012.

Everyone is welcome to post and share their stories and pictures, videos from concerts and trips to see Michael do what he does best-SING!!!   Michael will be touring in 2012 starting so far with some shows the end of January.  There could be other events sooner too so if anyone attends a great Bolton event/concert, feel free to share your experience here.  I hope to have a review after the Chester, PA show on January 28th along with some other fans that have gotten tickets for that show and  the Atlantic City, NJ show on January 27th as well!  After that there are shows in Australia so far listed for 2012.  Following those shows we have the Concert for MBC and Traveler's Golf Event in June, 2012 and later on the MBC Gala in Sept.. We already have some exciting events to look forward to next year and I know there will be much more to come.

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum.. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as before.

This message came through a few minutes ago. May have been one I missed around the 2nd.
If it is Kathy in Tulsa you are referring to first off blessings across the sea was very sweet of you, I love the sea by the way, thank you. As far as being sad I was a bit I suppose. I had a gift I hoped to give to MB but security said "no gifts." I think I understand now why. MB was flying by plane to get to some of his concerts and was moving quickly out for one the next day. I read where he makes sure to get 8 hours sleep the night before a concert so he had to be ready for the next day. I was a bit worried about my friend with me, too, she injured herself badly the night before. I drove in the rain for part of the trip and was a bit tired from that as well.
There will hopefully be another day, another concert. I really did enjoy the concert a lot, have some of it on video, too.
Security at that casino was not very friendly. The crowd eventually took over, however, and I know MB liked that. There were so many fans at the stage at the end I could not beleive it, the crowd loved MB.
In Branson last year the security was so nice and helpful. I was allowed to hand MB flowers, sweet moment for me and I hope for him. I got that personal wink, too. The casino security at any casino I have never cared for.
Well, girl, hope I explained all to you here. I have been all over the website lately, So if you already saw my explanations somewhere else, forgive me for taking up your time. Hope you are enjoying your new family edition, do, they grow up too fast and leave you for their friends, LOL, that is life.
Oh, and I was able to add somethings to the gift after returning to Tulsa, a sterling silver heart engraved with MB's initials and "This River," and a few other things. SHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! TRY TO KEEP THE SECRET.

Hi there Robin,

Thanks for the encouragement, Robin. I will look forward to that possibility someday. I felt quite fortunate that night to be able to give those flowers and it was such a very sweet moment. Please tell me about your experience when you have time. Branson, MO is a bit more laid back and personable and I love the Mansion Theatre. My great grandparents came there in a covered wagon and of course are laid to rest there. My cousin is director of Shepherd of the Hills in Branson, so quite a lot of my family history lie in that area. I know MB has no concerts there this year unless something changes, I already checked. But, I am curious about the Reno Nevada MB and Dave Mason event November 10th. Watching for more info on that one.
By the way, are you attending the Newport Beach concert August 3rd? I hope you are able to.
I did not have any of MB's books, one arrived in the mail today. I just opened it and it is signed by a Bolotin, but I do not think the first name is MB's, I would guess it is Nelson or Debra. I ordered this book off Amazon and after it was mailed realized it came from the Goodwill in Connecticut. I am quite anxious to read it and look at the pictures.

Hi sweet Dianna, by the time I respond to this message, you may have caught up with the rest of this thread but just in case, I'll explain in a nutshell. Kathy from Tulsa was going with her friend who seriously injured her hand, think it was the day before leaving but she went to the concert anyway. So Kathy was worried about her all this time but her friend has had surgery since then and is on her way to recovery. Oh my, Robin, wish I could have hugged him, surrounded by security I respected the mission MB was on, to sing closer to the audience who did not have close up seats. Glad you like one of my favorite songs, too, The River and the pic, my pleasure.
