2012 TOUR REVIEW THREAD-PLEASE SHARE YOUR 2012 MB CONCERT ADVENTURES WITH US HERE!!!!
HELLO EVERYONE, Since the 2011 Tour Review Thread is not playing nice and throwing us all back to the beginning lately, Gail asked if I would go ahead and start the 2012 thread. So here it is.. We can all share our excitement for Michael's upcoming touring and events in 2012 and chat and have fun here till the shows start in 2012.
Everyone is welcome to post and share their stories and pictures, videos from concerts and trips to see Michael do what he does best-SING!!! Michael will be touring in 2012 starting so far with some shows the end of January. There could be other events sooner too so if anyone attends a great Bolton event/concert, feel free to share your experience here. I hope to have a review after the Chester, PA show on January 28th along with some other fans that have gotten tickets for that show and the Atlantic City, NJ show on January 27th as well! After that there are shows in Australia so far listed for 2012. Following those shows we have the Concert for MBC and Traveler's Golf Event in June, 2012 and later on the MBC Gala in Sept.. We already have some exciting events to look forward to next year and I know there will be much more to come.
I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum.. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as before.

Thanks Ivana for your thoughtful and passionate review!! Boy it is just soooo unfortunate about the security. But I do agree with everyone that this venue was probably not meant for a rock concert. Perhaps Michael didn't realize that either. On the other hand if he gave the ok to come to the stage then I think it should have been allowed. It sounds like you all managed to have a good time regardless. Your reviews sound like real Bolton Adventures to me!!! Keep rocking Pink Ladies and all the other fans across all borders :)))

Actually it was *normal size*, excactly the size, what Michael likes in these days...1800 seats!
And it's made for Danmark's Radios Orchestra...just like our new Music House (a bit smaller) is done for classical music and Sympony Orchestras!!

So, defenatelly it was not 'the right place'...for Michael's concert!...Even thought MB liked it's acustics!
It would be perfect place for Michael to sing Arias (only)...but not Pop or Rock music!!

On the mean while when You are waiting for my review...
I'll send some pictures of our gitft's to Michael! Actually I ordered these teddies last summer, for my concert trip, but they arrived too late...I was already in Dresden by then. They are specially designed and made for Michael, by my friend Katja. She's also a fan of MB's!! Now she's selling them in 'her shop'!

I got an idea to give them to Amelia and Olivia, so I made a little cards for them. Also added a tiny little, hand made, red teddy, armbit of the 'the white' one and similar size hand made and painted red bucket with flower's in it, on 'the blue ones' hand! :) Päivi gave 'the blue one' and I 'the white'!
In my uppcoming review, You can read...what kind of 'big part' my gift,... teddy with a white T-shirt, flag of Finland printed on it (all description's for Sylvie and Robin!)...PLAYED in the concert, lol!!

Dear Ivana, thank you for your beautiful and detailed review. It does sound like the venue may not have held many rock/pop concerts in the past and the security certainly wasn’t forewarned, nor the audience aware of the usual format of MB concerts. I know nothing, but I personally think that the tour manager should advise the security in advance of what is allowed at a Michael Bolton concert. I know they have to be on alert but it would simplify matters for everyone if they knew pictures were allowed and Michael enjoys the fan exchange before hand. Maybe I’m just thinking like a fan, but it’s JMO. Obviously, as long as everyone respects the other party’s limits, things should go smoothly. What happened to Jaana was completely uncalled for and she should definitely do something about it. It’s a shame you didn’t feel free to enjoy the concert as much as other venues, but I’m really happy for you Ivana that you did find a way to enjoy it and that you had your special moment with Michael! :D You know sweetie, I understand what you’re saying about the 3 songs with Kelly and if you think about it, Michael wants to promote “Gems” which is his last album. We all have different taste on song approach and Michael can’t please everybody all the time. Oh Ivana, lol “Women can be animals sometimes” was one of Janis Liebhart’s funniest quotes in “This is Michael Bolton”! :D I’m really happy for you that overall, you were happy to have made the trip sweetie and hope for you that Michael returns somewhere closer where you can have the usual fan experience! Hi Ivana, Thanks for your lovely review.. I am so sorry the lady beside you was unkind and the security people were so rude to all of you..I am glad you got to the stage to give MB your gift and to touch hands..That's always such a fun moment at the concerts..
I feel bad for all of you that the venue staff were unkind and even some of the audience were more stern about the show..I guess they felt it was more like an opera performance?? Oh my..
Keep remembering the good parts of the show and MB's music being sung live to you the entire night..Remember the good stuff!!!!

Of course I'm gonna share it Robin, don't worry! But You have to wait a bit, as I don't know how to do it (stupid me, as always, lol!)! Päivi managed to do it, almost in the end of the show...Michael is singing...'Georgia' !! She added it to my computer, but I've managed to see it only once...but listen many times! So, when she comes from her holiday trip, I'll ask her to come over...and help me to add it here!

Oh Jaana .....just back on here before bed and to see those teddies I could take them with me......they are absolutely adorable and the little cards with Amelia and Olivia's names and especially "Grandpa's sweetheart" .....oh I bet you that just tickled Michael's "wee cotton socks" off him !! LOL I am so, so glad you got to give him those and I bet, without doubt, they go back to the States.....they are beautiful and thanks so much for sharing the pictures of them and will wait paitently for your review - promise !!! :) Thanks again Jaana !! :)
