2012 TOUR REVIEW THREAD-PLEASE SHARE YOUR 2012 MB CONCERT ADVENTURES WITH US HERE!!!!

HELLO EVERYONE, Since the 2011 Tour Review Thread is not playing nice and throwing us all back to the beginning lately, Gail asked if I would go ahead and start the 2012 thread. So here it is.. We can all share our excitement for Michael's upcoming touring and events in 2012 and chat and have fun here till the shows start in 2012.

Everyone is welcome to post and share their stories and pictures, videos from concerts and trips to see Michael do what he does best-SING!!!   Michael will be touring in 2012 starting so far with some shows the end of January.  There could be other events sooner too so if anyone attends a great Bolton event/concert, feel free to share your experience here.  I hope to have a review after the Chester, PA show on January 28th along with some other fans that have gotten tickets for that show and  the Atlantic City, NJ show on January 27th as well!  After that there are shows in Australia so far listed for 2012.  Following those shows we have the Concert for MBC and Traveler's Golf Event in June, 2012 and later on the MBC Gala in Sept.. We already have some exciting events to look forward to next year and I know there will be much more to come.

I am looking forward to another fun year of posts and sharing by the best Michael Bolton fans in the world on this forum.. I will post events to keep the thread moving along as the concerts come up as before.

Welcome everyone!!!!!

Remember Kathy from Tulsa & everyone, I killed my mouse. It comes to life when someone needs its services (on the computer). Just kidding. As most of you folks may know, Sylvie from Canada & I use speech programs for us to read. :) Love to joke around so folks, don't mind my sense of humor. It can be sick but remember, laughter's the best medicine & I overdose on it. Boltonnut from L. A. CA who loves life & Michael Bolton :)

Thanks for sharing Kathy in Tulsa..That's a great story!!!!!

Robin in MD :)

Thanks Robin and Sylvie,
Enjoyed sharing, now that I able to get back into the forum I am trying to catch up. I have read some fun reviews of others, Kathy R's from Valentine Day was a riot, thanks Sylvie for sending it. Looking forward to others as well. I think I need a concert very soon, December is too far off. Waiting for more surprising dates along with everyone else.
Have a good day, I will get here when I can, I am in a crisis at work trying to locate a new receptionist, anyone here need a job in Tulsa?..............LOL

Have a great day,

Kathy T. :-))

But kathy T. though December's far off, it really isn't. It will be here before one knows it. Yep, Sylvie in Canada & everyone, it's 8 more days for me. Because I have to stay vernight, I ain't staying @ the Hyatt. Not for $315 plus tax. Are you kidding me? So, I'm @ a Days Inn in Costa Mesa & I'll get my transportation from the hotel to the show & a cab back to the Days Inn. That's $104 & even with the cab fair, it's still less. I hope to see Kathy there. :) Boltonnut from L. A. CA who loves life & Michael Bolton :)

Hey Kathy in Tulsa,

I have to agree "Soul of my Soul" is a very powerful song, I thought that he wrote that song for his girls though! Either way when I hear it I always think he wrote it for me & my Meg....and when she left home, I listened to that and cried buckets! She's always around, but I liked it better when she lived at home!

Mary (Meg's mom)!

Hi Mary,

We don't ever really want to let them go, the world we live in leaves us no choice does it? As mothers we wish we could keep and protect them forever. 'If I Could" is another song that is very meaningful. I first heard it by Streisand, understand MB sang it to one of his daughters on her birthday at one of his concerts. I once played it for my oldest son.

I understand it making you cry all too well.

Have a good day, Mary.

Kathy T.:-))

Hey Kathy from Tulsa, about “If I could”, I personally heard it first from Michael but from many people since: I love Ray Charles’ version. In ’03, when I heard him dedicate it to Taryn on her birthday,,  it struck me dead on that year. In the same year, I had a milestone birthday, my eldest was becoming an adult and my baby was starting school so you can imagine every word hitting home... Well, guess we’re all a bunch of saps... :D Thanks for sharing Kathy, take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada

Hi Mary, MB dedicated Soul of My Soul to his girls I thought when it came out.. I loved hearing it live in the shows back when it was a part of the setlist..  One of my favs too...

Sure, anyone who has a daughter can really related to Soul of my Soul." Beautiful song. As is "Till the End of Forever." Michael's never performed that one though. Boltonnut from L. A. CA who loves life & Michael Bolton :)

See, girls. That's what music can do for all of us. Make us happy, sad, all kinds of emotions. Love it. "Lean on Me' is what tears my heart out." Just love that & when he did that song back in the day, I wold just cry & cry. When I was waiting for my friend to come & get me from the pavillion, after that song, I cried. A nurse came up to me & asked if I was all right & I told her, "Yes. I just didn't want the show to end." I get emotional easily, I suppose but music is the best drug. :) Boltonnut from L. A.
