Hello everybody.   I'm a newbie to this forum, but not to being a huge fan of Michael.  I've been a fan for 19 years now :)  I love his origional pieces, but he is so darn good at covering the classics too.   I wish I could put a bug in his ear and have him record two of my favorite songs.  "Song to the Siren" by Tim Buckley, and " I Don't Need No Doctor" by Ray Charles.  That one would fit beautifully on his blues album waiting in the wings.  :)   Do any of you have a wish list for him to cover?       Payten

OMG Jennifer, thank you so much for posting these! I think you’re gonna make some people very happy with those! Good Lord, those songs are two of the most powerful songs ever written and they get to me every time I hear them… Powerful lyrics and powerful delivery by Michael, I love them to bits and God bless you for sharing Jen! Take care. Big hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
I wish Michael would cover ray's songs Take these chains from my heart&set me free&you're cheating heart. I know they're country but why not? :)
grazie infinite jennifer per la condivisione ,non le avevo mai sentite .ciao cry
Off topic. Can you, Chris67, translate in to English what you said unless you may not speak English, please? Thanks.

Thanks Dianna. I understand folks not knowing English.
Would it possible if folks are speaking in another Language that it would be translated. I feel sensitive to it as I feel like we're prying if we were to know what is discussed. Don't mean to be off topic. Now, if one doesn't know English, I do understand. Thanks.
About jesthemane, I thought it was called Garden ofGethsetmi (pardon spelling). Wow! I've heard Michael do that song during the Andrew Lloyd Webber tour back in 2000. Whoever taped it, it sounds darn good.Geth
Yeah, Garden of Gethsemini.
My Son would love to have Michael do some country songs as well, One that he really likes is "I Don't Want To Live" by Chris Cagle.
Personally I don't know how to appreciate Country Music, I feel as though I'm stuck listening to it, because the boys here love it. But on the other hand
my boys have learned to love Michael's music, and they didn't like it at first. Maybe someday I will get used to the feel of Country Music. But if I can't dance to it. then
I see no point.LOL

Kellie
Hi Kellie, I have to say that I’m not the biggest country music fan myself, although I was raised on country music. However, there are some great voices of country music out there and Ray Charles sang a mean country song! I forget where I’ve heard this, but Ray said it himself: it’s the stories. There are great human stories in country music, all you need is the right voice to express them. I’m sure you’d probably love it if Michael chose to sing a country song! :D Take care. Hugs, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada
I love country music as well but not so much the newer stuff I like the old stuff.
But I have to admit if there is one singer I cannot stand is Johnny Cash I grew up with him 24/7 drives me crazy.
My dad still listens to him nearly every day bless him lol
I think Jim Reeves,Charlie Pride,Englebert Humperdinck,Judds,Wyonna,Tammy Wynette all have some beautiful songs and many, many more...
I just love Music :)
So Michael I wouldn't mind a few country songs either :)
