Michael Bolton, voice, charisma and professionalism in a sold-out concert

(Translation by google)

Professionalism, although it is sometimes an abstract to us in the context of the organization of events, there are still artists who were kind enough to show us what a concert tuned. On the evening of May 16 Michael Bolton delivered a public show at the Palace Hall flawlessly. A monotone voice, unforced humor, charisma and a team of musicians worthy of applause - these were the elements that have managed to stand up over 4,000 people attending the concert. Some were, in fact, already been standing for some place tickets have been sold twice. But what does that matter when Michael Bolton is on stage? People should be happy that I can see for the third time in Romania. And they saw. Moreover, towards the end of the show some of those who gathered in front of the stage even had the opportunity to shake hands with him. We're glad we had the opportunity to listen again and thank him for a wonderful live performance that has not betrayed any moment 60 years of age.

As many already know, Michael Bolton is more than a performer. Aside from its distinctive timbre and ease with which it can ascend and descend in books, Michael Bolton is an exceptional songwriter, actor and film producer even. In other words, a complete artist whose live performances borrows a little from each experiential gained, as has been observed in concert at the Palace Hall.
Diana sang the opening and Matthew Band Cleant that instead of good evening kept insisting on "Do you have some patience" and "Let not a long very, very much." Probably anticipated that if they do not fit in the 20 minute designated by the organizers will not be able to complete the performance. What happened, Diana Matei leaving the microphone in hand, but without sound, while interpreting the piece Mihaela Runceanu. After a pause needed to prepare the stage, Michael Bolton has welcomed the public at around 9:00 p.m. a quarter

"Thank you! Bucharest, Romania, thanks! It's great to be back here. I am back in Bucharest for the fifth, the sixth time? Thank you so much for coming to see me. First notice that we have a full house and thank you for that. I encourage you to make as much noise as you can. I know that certain events are told not to take pictures, but we encourage you to make as many shots as you can. You can use phones, cameras, anything. Just try to catch me in the most flattering poses. (...) I will sing the first single from the album "Timeless". Since you know the song Feel free to sing verses, chorus, guitar solo ... Whatever you want, I just want to get involved. Maestro! "

This was the speech that has experienced a packed auditorium. There followed a setlist that flowed cord, passing through several genres audience and time periods. From rock and pop songs from the last album from the vintage songs, known and loved by the public. I could listen to this "To Love Somebody", "Hope It's Too Late," "You Do not Know Me", "Is not No Mountain High Enough" and not least "When A Man Loves A Woman". With short introductions of each piece separately, Michael Bolton bore the audience with a portfolio archive accumulated nearly 4 decades musical career.
"I realized that no one can sing the duet" was the reply that Michael Bolton invited her onstage Kelly Levesque, a young artist known for his work with David Foster, Diane Warren and the Neptunes, as well as a series of commercials made in the White House - "The White House Presents Motown" - along with Stevie Wonder, Jamie Foxx, John Legend, Seal, Sheryl Crow and President Obama. From the first lyrics, Kelly sparked rounds of applause, his voice strong and achieving the millimeter of each musical note, however high, managing to gain the attention and sympathy of the audience.
During the whole concert Michael Bolton performed with a precision metronome. His warm voice, strong and untouched with the years kept the audience in the outlet from the beginning to the end, short breaks between songs gave the alert tone of the show and giving the impression of an artistic program calculated the minute. This however has not bothered being the proof of professionalism accumulated years and years of live performances held throughout the world.

Undoubtedly, the most awaited moment of the evening was the interpretation of the song "When A Man Loves A Woman". To the delight of those in the first row, Michael Bolton went down from the stage, playing almost the entire song together in front of the audience. As expected, many stood on chairs to come close to the artist and make pictures, as they were encouraged to start the show. Setlist included a piece in Italian - "Nessun Dorma" - that Michael Bolton was dedicated to the late Luciano Pavarotti, "best tenor of all times".
The bis some of those seated arose and gathered in front of the stage, the luckiest even managing to shake the hand of Michael. The show ended around 23:00 a quarter hall gradually emptied without the world flock to the exit. Although very little audience sang along with Michael Bolton, open stage applause were present, thanks to the ultimate artist "a great audience." We would not be surprised, therefore, to reauzim in Bucharest, considering that 60 years still sings like 30.
