Brainstorming for our Michael's birthday

Hi everyone, well this is my first attempt at starting a discussion so hope I’m doing this right... :D . A couple of weeks ago, I asked Gail when she thought would be a proper time to start thinking of what we fans want to do for our Michael’s 60^th birthday. She said she was out of ideas, but suggested I’d start a thread asking fans for suggestions. I figure we have exactly 4 months, starting today, to come up with something fun and get mobilised to achieve it. I’m no organizer, I just thought we could share ideas so let’s put our heads together and see what we can come up with! :D Take care and hugs to all, sincerely, Sylvie from Canada J

*The 2 most popular suggestions so far are:

- individual donations to michaelboltoncharities.com, mentionning they are made in honor of Michael’s birthday, of any amount you feel comfortable with.

-a collective wall-hanging made from personalized fabric squares sent by fans that will be stitched together. The 4 inch/10 cm squares (with small blank margin) only need have your signature and location but can be crafty as you are able. For

more info, ask here, or PM either me, or Amie Angeli who will be doing the stitching and presenting the finished product to our Michael.

**Note: The final deadline for recieving fabric squares is February 15th, so you don't have much time left. :D

**It would also mean a lot to Michael if fans donate to the Red Cross for victims of hurricane Sandy at:

then E-mail Gail at boltoninfo@aol.com with your name and location, so she can add them to the MBC donors list.

Amie, with your descriptions of being @ Michael's home, I felt like I was there watching everything going on. I have to admit, had I veen there, I would have been frightened of the big dog but he did seem gentle. Cool. :)))))))

Hey Amie, I'll bet you are still on a Cloud because you got to go to the "Pretty House" and that was probably MB's dog...and you got to meet his daughter Taryn..now that is a Treat all in itself:)! I'm sure after Michael wipes those few tears away, and gets that lump out of his throat...from being overwhelmed..he will send Us more Love:)!

Oh my what an exciting day you had! Sorry no MB, but I don't think he is ever home much at all. Still special that you got to meet Taryn and actually see the house up close. Tell us all about it and can't wait to see some pics!

Thanks for the up-date Amie and glad you got it delivered safely and thanks too Gail for your up-date !! :) Michael, in a recent interview, did say about the girls taking in rescue Boxers so maybe that is where this young one has appeared from. Looking forward to pictures Amie and thanks again for everything !! :)

Good Morning All, I am hoping that I am doing this right. I am attempting to post some pictures of Michael's Birthday Cake. I am so sorry that it has taken me so long to post these. I have been having a hectic time at work. Working at Walmart is no piece of cake!!! Although it does offer some benefits---such as getting this cake for Michael!!!! Hope you all like the design.

Also, is there anyone that can help me with the video that his assistant posted of him getting the cake? I am thinking that you can only view it if you go onto Facebook. I don't do Facebook, so any help would be appreciated!!!

Hey Tami, good to read you here sweetie! Well I don't know what they look like, but you did it: the pics are here! Thanks so much for coming back and posting them! In case you haven't read, Amie should also upload pics of the wall-hanging, as soon as she can get tech help.
